BARDERY, LOUIS-ARMAND (French, 1879-1952) Louis-Armand Bardery studied with Thomas d’Injalbert and Vital Cornu. He got an honourable mention for ‘Première des Illusions’, which was exhibited at the Salon de Paris 1905. He then obtained the third medal in 1907, a second medal in 1911 and was granted a travelling scholarship for a gold medal in 1913. In 1930 he also exhibited at the Salon d’Automne.
Bardery was a member of the Salon des Artistes Français and is known for his oriental figures, portraits and busts. He has also produced a number of large scale works and monuments
