Hedwig Pillitz (British 1897-1987)
Hedwig Pillitz was a painter of portraits of society and particularly those involved in the arts, she also painted flowers and landscapes. Pillitz exhibited from 1924 and well into the 1940s, primarily at the Royal Scottish Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Academy.
